About Us

In 1999 Magnaloux (pronounced Mag-na-loo) was born out of a mission to provide high quality optical products at great prices. Our initial steps saw us showcasing our products at prestigious (and OK, some not so) events throughout the UK. Coming face to face with our customers enabled us to quickly tailor our range to what people actually wanted. It was great fun; we can now even look back and laugh at the time we had our exhibition trailer, Land Rover and the tractor pulling us, stuck in the muddy bog that was the Bristol Balloon Fiesta. Sometimes the sun shone, sometimes the wind blew, it certainly rained a lot, but we sold an awful lot of binoculars and gained a fantastic insight into our customer's needs.

Over a decade on, we're extremely proud of our products - many of our customers take the time to tell us they love them.
